Q Hotels Launches 2011 Placement and Graduate Programmes

Q Hotels has just launched it's placements and graduate programmes for 2011 and things are going to be different this year!

Placements with Q Hotels

Over the last few months we have been visiting universities up and down the country to advertise our placements for 2011. Every hotel in the group is taking part in the placement programme this year however big or small. We are offering placements that include all areas of the business. We have a Front Office Placement, Food and Beverage Placement and a General Placement in smaller hotels.

As part of your placement with Q you will have the opportunity to experience a wide variety of departments within the business from operational departments to support departments like Finance, Sales and Human Resources as a secondment.

What you do is up to you – as part of the recruitment process you will be expected to negotiate the areas that you want to experience within your chosen hotel and sell yourself as the perfect placement student.

You will join us at operative level and once you get started who knows where you will be by the end of your placement!

We will do regular performance development plans with you to help focus in on areas for development and build on your strengths making sure that you make the msot of the specialists that you are working with.We will also offer you all the training that you need to do the jobs that you undertake whilst on placement and you will have the opportunity to attend at least one of the company bespoke training courses.

The ball is in your court to show us what you are capable of. The skies the limit and the rest is up to you!
