What is a Centre of Excellence?

We’re always looking out for expert teams who go the extra mile to make a stay with QHotels extra special. It’s about ensuring anything from a function to a business meeting is memorable. It’s about making things special, distinctive, personal. And the departmental teams which achieve these levels of service and expertise are awarded Centres of Excellence status.

Our Centres of Excellence teams then pass on their expertise through mentoring and training across the Group and their work will include

Supporting new collegues through specialist induction and mentoring

Helping to deliver Specialist Workshops.

Get together in Steering Groups to help us develop new standards and imporve our service

Check out new suppliers to ensure that they meet our distinctively different needs

Each year every department within each hotel can apply to become a Centre of Excellence, and then our successful teams areinvited to our Special Awards Event and collect their award. They'll also pick up a bonus at the end of their year to share with their teams, as a thank you for their support as a Centre of Excellence!
