QHotels Management Induction Programme
Of course standard induction covering the statutory essentials is important. However we also know it's important that you find out much much more when you start, such as what isQHotels all about, how do we run our business, and what we expect from you as a QHotels manager. So we've introduced our management induction that you'll attend in your first few months. Delivered by one of our senior managers, you'll get the chance to find out more, ask all of your questions and importantly meet up with other colleagues who have recently joined also.
Our QED programmes
So what’s QED? Well, in Latin it stands for Quod Erat Demonstrandum, which means ‘which has to be proved’. But here at QHotels we’ve given it a distinctive twist and call it QEDucation.
These modular programme have been developed in different areas of the business, and much of the programme content is delivered by our own Group Specialists and Directors and include
QED Senior Management Programme covering Strategic Management and Planning, Finance and Forecasting, Results through People, Commercial Management
QED Food and Beverage Programme for dedicated Food and Beverage team members who are inspired to progress to Restaurant & Bar Management/Operations Management roles and includes topics such as Revenue Generation, Custom and Concept and Departmental Finance.
QED Finance Programme delivered by our Group Finance team, this course will set you on the road to becoming a financial expert within our business. It’s designed to deliver the development of our Assistant Financial Controllers who’ll become the Financial Controllers of the future.
Specialist Management Workshops
As a manager, its important that you get know know regularly how we're doing, and what we're planning. You also need toget involved in developing our standards, and how we can continually improve and develop our business. At QHotels you'll attend at least one specialist workshop each year. For example Front Office, Housekeepers, Head Chefs, and Events Workshops. We also include specialist management development as part of our workshops, and most importantly this is a great opportunity to catch up with other colleagues doing the same role - great fun!
