Responsible Business

We want all of our hotels to be as environmentally-friendly as possible and all of our people to be as happy, attentive and passionate about environmental issues as we are. That’s why we’ve established ‘Green Teams’ and our hotels have already been awarded bronze and even silver Green Tourism Business Scheme awards for their endeavours.

We’d like to thank all of our people for welcoming, supporting and driving some stunning results forward as part of our commitment to the environment and Corporate Social Responsibility. Working hard with the Carbon Trust, we’ve certainly put some energy into saving energy and cutting carbon emissions at our hotels. And every one of our hotels has a QHotel Energy team dedicated to keeping our business as green as possible.

We’re also just as dedicated to delivering some fantastic fund-raising results to both local and national charities. For example, our ‘Hiking Hoteliers’ covered over 24 of the highest peaks in the Lake District and raised £31,000 for Cancer Research. Our 19 Leisure Clubs raised £8,316 for Sports Relief and £4,026 for Children in Need. And every one of our hotels has its own local charity which the entire team inspires, motivates and supports each other to raise money for. And another distinctive accolade! Our Forest Pines Hotel has won the Humber Business Partnership Award.
