After a hard day at the office followed by a long journey, you’ll understand that it’s a simple and speedy check-in that your guest needs. And that’s just one example of the many individual people and situations you’ll deal with. So it’s about being genuine, approachable, attentive and instinctive. Just like our guest service.

We know that first and last impressions are crucial, and we also know that each and every one of our guests wants to be made to feel special, so no lengthy standards checklists for us! You’ll just use your instinct to build a great rapport and deliver our distinctively memorable service.

These are the different Front Office areas you might join us in:

Reception

You might be checking in a weary traveller one minute, making sure they’ve everything they need to be comfortable and enjoy their stay. And then it might be a big conference, wedding party, business function…our Reception team is nothing if not flexible, welcoming and, quite frankly, amazing at all times!

Whilst we certainly want to hear from you if you’re an experienced Front Office Manager, Front Office Supervisor or Receptionist, we’d also love to hear from you if you’ve just left school, college or university or you’re inspired to join the hospitality industry.

Getting everyone involved, and giving everyone the opportunity to progress is important to us, so we’ve always got lots going on including training for NVQs, specialist training on our front office system Protel and regular Reception workshops.

Housekeeping

2843 Bedrooms and 2843 opportunities for our guests to walk into their bedrooms and say ‘Wow – this looks great and it feels great.’ And it’s going to be one of the most important parts of their experience with us. That’s why our Housekeeping people are really vital members of the team. You’ll make sure that our guests enjoy slipping between freshly laundered, crisp bed linen. That they dry off with beautifully fresh and fluffy towels. And that they enjoy all other areas of the hotel too, because you’ve put your brilliant attention to detail to best use and made sure that every area of your QHotel is spick, span and stunning.

We can offer great opportunities to train and progress and we offer training towards NVQs as well as management development training.

Concierge Service

Staying at a QHotel is always memorable. And it’s often our Concierges who can really make the difference. Perhaps you’ll help guests with their luggage, or provide advice on directions and local attractions. You might deliver room service food and drinks to weary travellers, or check the hotel each evening for security. Whatever, you’ll be a dedicated professional with a flexible approach and a genuinely attentive nature.
