Reservations
You can make a real difference in this role – because it’s true that people can see a smile, even when it’s over the phone! So perhaps it’s a stressed businessperson needing a last minute booking to get to a vital meeting; maybe it’s a family coming to see the sights or experience the city for a weekend; it might be someone trying to arrange a conference, a family party, a romantic anniversary trip…you get the picture. When they phone to book, you’ll be their first ‘experience’ of QHotels so we’ll need you to be friendly, welcoming, outgoing and as helpful as can be.
Events Office
You don’t need to be a mind reader, but sometimes it helps in our Events office as you ensure that every customer enjoys the event they’ve dreamed of. It’s busy, busy, busy as you make and take calls and ensure every last detail is in place. Because whilst we’re not strictly invited to the ‘dos’ we arrange, we’re passionate about making every event extra special, from a spectacular wedding to a small family gathering, a corporate event with the wow factor to a meticulously arranged business meeting. It’s up to us to make it happen.
We have dedicated teams in each of our Events Offices including Events Planners straight from school or college to Co-ordinators then moving on to Department Managers. To join our Events teams requires imagination, spark, creativity and a genuine joie-de-vivre that allows you to build immediate rapport with customers and ensure that they plan their event, however large or small, with QHotels.
Revenue Management
Revenue is what makes every business tick, the strategy, the internet deals, the special offers are all part of the revenue role at QHotels.
And in our Revenue roles, enthusiastic, imaginative and individual people thrive as we all work to create a One of Kind QHotels experience for all our customers. You’ll need to bring some solid experience gained in Events, Sales or Hotel Reception to join us in this senior hotel management role. It will be your efficient and effective working manner that will see your hotel making maximum revenue out of everything it does to entertain and delight its guests.
Central Sales
We rely on the knowledge and skills of our Central Sales team to support our hotels to generate fantastic sales. So you might be looking at influencing local businesses to secure local corporate rates, or working with blue chip companies to hold their meetings and conferences with us, or building a fantastic rapport with national agencies.
You’ll be working on regional, national and leisure accounts, so your sales expertise will be complemented by gut instinct, attention to detail, the ability to think on your feet and to offer imaginative, inspiring and creative solutions to clients.
