Specialist Support
Our people behind-the-scenes play just as special a part in our success as the people out front – and we know and appreciate that. In all the back offices we have our specialist support teams working to ensure that every guest experience is a memorable one, and that our people's performance and bottom line results are just as impressive! Each hotel has its own dedicated team of support roles:
Finance
Each of our hotels is ‘self-accounting', and each has its own Financial Controller who is responsible for producing accounts for every financial period. It's fast-paced stuff and certainly not a ‘grey suit' environment!
To make sure our people can progress we run our own training programme, QED Future of Finance, and will also consider sponsorship of CIMA and AAT professional qualifications making sure we keep you up to date!
Human Resources
Being in HR at QHotels is a rewarding and exciting role making sure we have the right people, in the right place, at the right time. And it’s our knowledgeable, dedicated and inspirational HR experts based in every hotel who ensure that everyone gets the training and development opportunities they need to build their careers with us.
For you as a HR expert, we offer Leadership and Mentoring programmes as well as the opportunity to be a Hospitality Diploma Champion and study the CIPD qualification.
Maintenance
Without these guys we would fall apart – literally! Every QHotel has their own dedicated team of maintenance professionals made up of a Manager and various experts in decorating, electrical, plumbing, health & safety issues, fire regulations and more. You might already have specific maintenance experience or perhaps you're just a gifted DIY-er. Whichever, working with us could very well work for you.
