So what does it mean to be a Centre of Excellence?
For our Managers who are recognsied as a Centre of Excellence they’ll be getting involved with more than just running your own department and this will include:
Induction, training and mentoring of HODs and Assistant HODs who join in other hotels
Testing or trialling new products/suppliers and providing feedback to Procurement and our group team
Supporting and helping to develop new company standards and procedures
Special projects and steering groups
Supporting the re-opening/launch of new facilities around the group
How are Centres of Excellence selected?
At the beginning of each year we invite applications from all of our Departmental Managers. We look for great all round departmental performance in service delivery and financial results over the last 12 months to clearly demonstrate the effective management and leadership of your department.
For those managers who become a Centre of Excellence, they'll be invited to our ‘Celebrating Success’ Awards lunch held each year. At the end of the 12 months, as a thank you for your support they'll also receive a team bonus to spend on a night out, or other treats for their team.
