Job Description

Reporting to: Front Office Manager

Job Description

Through the consistent delivery of the highest standards of product and service; a passionate approach to exceeding our customers expectations and as a champion of our vision and values, promote a professional and positive image to all of our guests and contribute to the hotels targets. Specifically responsible for ensuring that the night audit is completed to fulfill all audit and statistical requirements for the hotel.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Manage the Night operation

· Communication - handover procedures

· Check hotel guests in and out

· Assist with luggage when required

· Serve food and liquor to Company standards and be aware of Licensing Laws and Basic Food Hygiene Regulations

· Ordering and delivery of guest's newspapers

· Night cleaning

· Car Parking

· Fire, Health & Safety and Security procedures

· Front Office systems of operation - Protel, Delphi, .POS

· Control cost & revenue

· Knowledge of profit & loss relative to the department

· Staff Rota

· Recruitment

· Product Knowledge - local area

· Training & Development

· People Management

· Work with other departments to ensure highest standards of service

· Maintain standards of appearance

· Monitorcustomer service

Desired Skills, Experience & Attributes

· Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom

· Management experience

· Knowledge of hotel systems and procedures

· Ability to delegate effectively

· Strong commitment to the highest standards of customer service

· H&S aware

· Good employee relations

· Excellent communication skills
