Golf Retail Assistant - Job Description

To assist in the Golf Pro-Shop promoting a range of existing and new products to members, guests and the public and to maximise retail sales by visual displays, promotions and upselling. To assist the Golf Team in taking bookings and in the day to day running of the Golf Operation

Duties & responsibilities

Serving customers

Cash handling

Promoting retail sales

Liaising with sales department regarding tee times

Stock controls and procedures

Desired skills & experience

An interest in golf and leisure a distinct advantage

Previous retail experience an advantage although full training will be given

Strong commitment to the highest standards of customer service

Ability to work on own without supervision

Excellent communication skills
