Job Description

Chef de Partie

Ashford International Hotel, part of the QHotels group is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join our dedicated and vibrant Kitchen team.

The role will involve

· Hands-on at all times, including preparation and a la carte service.

· Maintaining high levels of productivity and food standards during service.

· Responsibility for assisting in maintaining high levels of hygiene and health and safety.

· Rotation of stock and organising the effective storage of goods.

· Responsibility for junior staff development and ensuring high levels of food standards are achieved.

The role is full time, 40 hours per week over 7 days (various shifts).

Our Expectation:

· The successful Chef de Partie will have at least 2 years experience at a Demi Chef level within a similar operation.

· Ideally you will have previous 3 or 4 star hotel experience or worked within quality restaurants.

· You must be quality driven and possess a passion for fine food.

· You will need to have the ability to cope under pressure.

· Have a good understanding of COSSH and HACCAP.

· Flexibility to work various shifts.

· Good Command of English.
