Job Description
YOUR BRIEF:
To have knowledge of all food and beverage items served in the F&B Outlets and to ensure that customers receive the highest levels of customer service at all times as well as receiving tray service in the Lounge when ever possible.
AS AN F&B ATTENDANT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
* Welcoming guests and ensuring through good and efficient service that correct standards of service are maintained and that the service is carried out in a courteous, efficient and pleasant manner
*Preparing the department ready for service to the standard set and to ensure that the outlook of the service area has a clean and tidy appearance at all times
*Working as part of a team to ensure guests’ expectations are exceeded
* Having complete knowledge of all menus, wine lists and specialties offered in the department and to be able to advise guests as necessary
*Checking back with guests to ensure that they are happy with the service that they have received
TO BE A ONE OF A KIND F&B ATTENDANT:
* Provide a warm welcome to guests when they arrive in the department – use their name and try to remember regular guests and their preferences
*Say hello to any guests or colleagues you meet as you walk around the hotel - SMILE
*Enjoy the job – use the FISH philosophy at all times
*Be mindful of special occasions and contribute where possible
YOUR TALENTS:
* You have a passion for customer service
* Ideally you will have worked in a similar role before or at a minimum in a customer service role
*You’ll be confidently able to talk to anyone and everyone
*You will be flexible and adaptable
