JOB DESCRIPTION
To ensure that all conferences and events run smoothly and efficiently and that customer/guest satisfaction is maintained at all times.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Meeting deadlines set by clients, hotel and other parties involved in holding a
conference and/or event
- Managing the setting up and breaking down of the banqueting rooms to the required standard
- Planning ahead and anticipating business needs
- Completing staff rota’s in accordance with forecasted business
- Schedules in place to cover all tasks within the business
- Delegating responsibility to other team members
- Ensuring departmental SOP Manual is in place and regularly updated
- Reporting any maintenance requirements to the Maintenance Manager
- Demonstration of QHotels Leadership Values

HOTEL DESCRIPTION
The Cheltenham Chase Hotel is situated between Cheltenham and Gloucester in a rural / residential setting, with good bus links. We have 122 bedrooms and 8/ 10 meeting rooms, the largest which will hold 240 dinner guests. We are mainly a business hotel with a strong leisure mix at weekends and holidays. AA Hotel group of the year and internally Hotel of the year (Runner up) for 2009.
