Job Description
Forest Pines Hotel & Golf Resort is nestled in 188 acres of landscaped Lincolnshire countryside, boasting a 27 hole championship golf course, conference & events centre, 188 luxurious bedrooms, leisure and spa facilities and 3 individual restaurants including our award winning rosette Eighteen 57 seafood restaurant
As Sales Co-ordinator you will organize & co-ordinate all incoming event bookings, ensuring these are processed effectively in line with Company Standards. Actively promote the hotel’s facilities in order to secure the business and maximize revenue opportunities
Duties include:
Handle all incoming event enquiries and co-ordinate bookings in accordance to QH brand standards
Maximise revenue opportunities through questioning techniques and promoting hotel facilities
Conduct site visits in accordance to QH brand standards
All enquiries are chased in accordance with QH brand standards
Use computerized booking systems to accurately record, store and retrieve bookings
Produce accurate correspondence such as proposals, contracts, invoices and BEO’s
To have in-depth knowledge of the hotel conference and banqueting facilities
Follow up with the organizer at the end of the event and pro-actively pursue any future bookings
Produce, check and distribute the weekly BEO’s
Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure that information regarding our clients events are passed on accurately and ensure inter-departmental relations are maintained
Offer alternative QH venues for denied business
Handle customer complaints promptly and professionally, demonstrating genuine care and concern, making your Manager aware.
Assist with the weekly and monthly forecast of all events at the hotel.
Work closely with the Events Office Manager in all aspects of the Events Office
Experience required:
Strong commitment to the highest standards of customer service
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Computer literacy – good working knowledge of Windows based application, Delphi and Protel
Target orientated – be aware and responsive to departmental targets and promises.
Have the ability to stay calm under pressure
Accurate and high level of attention to detail
Team player with commitment to colleagues, department goals and Company
