Job Description
YOU’RE BRIEF:
To manage and ensure the smooth operations within the Front Desk section, incorporating Reception and the Nights team. A professional and effective manager who is highly motivated, with a passion for service to exceed our customers expectations.
AS A FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
· To set the agreed standards of operation within the Front Office Department through leadership & communication within the team.
· To ensure that the presentation of the Front Office staff is immaculate on all occasions, both uniform and personal presentation.
· To review rooms allocation on a daily basis and ensure that the correct rooms are allocated to the VIPs and guests according to correspondence and request.
· To review cash control procedures in your department on a weekly basis and report any discrepancies to the Financial Controller.
· To ensure all in-house guest information is correct and up to date in the hotel computer system.
· To ensure all guest billing is processed timely and accurately and documentation relating to such is kept in accordance with hotel policy.
· To check, monitor and follow up all accounting requirements involving individual, function and group postings and payments in accordance with the hotel’s accounting procedure.
· To allocate rooms in conjunction with the Reservations Department, ensuring the maximum revenue will be yielded.
· To ensure that the Night Team are fully trained in all revenue and report producing procedures.

· Build up a rapport with regular clients
· Use positive language at all times during personal and telephone conversations
· Provide a warm welcome to clients when you meet them – use their name
· Say hello to any guests or colleagues you meet as you walk around the hotel - SMILE
· Have a drive for quality and excellence in customer service.
YOUR TALENTS:
· A proven track record of Reception Management through a similar job in the past.
· You will know your way around Front Office Based IT Systems
· Previous experience of managing a team
· You will be flexible and adaptable
· Be able to demonstrate your ability to communicate to all customer levels.

The Park Royal Hotel, part of QHotels, is situated in the countryside village of Stretton, 4 miles from Warrington Town Centre. The hotel comprises of 146 bedrooms, Restaurant, Lounge Bar, Conference and Banqueting suites that can cater for up to 400 guests. The hotel also includes a fantastic Leisure Club, with 2 gyms, dance studio and 22 meter swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna, plus relaxation area and 7 beauty treatment rooms.
