Job Description
YOUR BRIEF:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, self motivated individual with a passion for excellence in customer services to drive departmental standards and deliver the guest experience fitting of our 4 star landmark hotel. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will take responsibility for the Reception Department, ensuring our guests and visitors receive nothing but the highest levels of customer services throughout their stay.
AS RECEPTION MANAGERYOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
· Managing and ensuring the smooth operation of the Reception department.
· Agreeing, setting and driving standards of operation through leadership and communication
· Coaching, developing and managing our Reception team to exceed customer expectations, through the consistent delivery of a‘one of a kind’ guest experience.
· Reviewing rooms’ allocation daily, ensuring the correct rooms are allocated and that maximum revenue is yielded.
· Ensuring all in-house guest information is correct and up to date
· Regularly reviewing cash control procedures, reporting discrepancies to the Financial Controller.
· Ensuring guest billing is processed timely and accurately and documentation to such is kept in accordance with hotel policy.
· Contributing to overall increased customer satisfaction scores within the hotel
· Continually striving for quality and excellence
· Driving standards of personal appearance, ensuring the presentation of the team is immaculate, both uniform and personal appearance
TO BE A ONE OF A KIND RECEPTION MANAGER:
Work pro-actively and coherently with other departments within the hotel to identify opportunities and areas of improvement
Anticipate and respond quickly and effectively to individual customer needs
Use positive body language at all times with both colleagues and customers.
Have a natural rapport and empathy with our guests and customers.
Have a drive and passion for quality and service excellence
YOUR TALENTS:
· A proven track record of Reception Management gained from a similar background
· You will know your way around Front Office IT based systems
· Previous experiencing of leading, managing and developing a team
· You will be flexible and adaptable
· Be able to demonstrate your ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
