Job Description

POSITION – Leisure Receptionist

SALARY – £5.85 per hour

LOCATION – Hampshire Court Hotel

YOU’RE BRIEF:

To ensure that all guests and members receive a warm welcome and a lasting first impression of the hotel and Leisure Club. To be a point of contact for all members and guests and to deal with all situations in a polite and courteous manner.

AS A RECEPTIONIST YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

· Ensuring that our members and guests experience includes nothing but the highest levels of customer service throughout their visit.

· Advising members and guests on the facilities and timetables.

· Up-selling club membership.

· Checking members in using our front of house system.

· Handling cash and other payment methods

· Answering the telephone within three rings and directing calls appropriately.

· Making bookings as required.

TO BE A ONE OF A KIND RECEPTIONIST:

· Assist other’s in their department, if workload allows.

· Say hello to any guests or colleagues you meet as you walk around the hotel - SMILE

· Encourage the conservation of energy and recycling at every opportunity

· Have a natural flare with guests and customers.

· Have a drive for quality and excellence in customer service.

YOUR TALENTS:

· Ideally you will know your way around IT Systems.

· Have a head for figures and be able to handle cash and other payment methods.

· You will be flexible and adaptable

· Previous experience as a receptionist in a Leisure Club or hotel.

· You will be able to demonstrate that you can communicate to all customer levels.
