Job Description

POSITION – Leisure Head Receptionist

SALARY – £14,500 per annum

LOCATION – Hampshire Court Hotel

YOU’RE BRIEF:

To ensure that all guests and members receive a warm welcome and a lasting first impression of the hotel and Leisure Club. To be a point of contact for all members and guests and to deal with all situations in a polite and courteous manner. To lead the reception team to deliver the above.

AS HEAD RECEPTIONIST YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

· Ensuring that our members and guests experience includes nothing but the highest levels of customer service throughout their visit.

· Day to day running of the Leisure Reception desk.

· Advising members and guests on the facilities and timetables.

· Up-selling club membership.

· Membership Administration.

· Checking members in using our front of house system.

· Handling cash and other payment methods

· Answering the telephone within three rings and directing calls appropriately.

· Making bookings as required.

· Implementing SOPs to improve and maintain standards.

· Working towards Retail Eyes (guest feedback) targets.

TO BE A ONE OF A KIND HEAD RECEPTIONIST:

· Assist other’s in their department, if workload allows.

· Say hello to any guests or colleagues you meet as you walk around the hotel - SMILE

· Encourage the conservation of energy and recycling at every opportunity

· Have a natural flare with guests and customers.

· Have a drive for quality and excellence in customer service.

YOUR TALENTS:

· You will know your way around IT Systems.

· Have a head for figures and be able to handle cash and other payment methods.

· You will be flexible and adaptable

· Previous experience as a receptionist, supervisory experience an advantage.

· A desire to progress, essential.

· You will be able to demonstrate that you can communicate to all levels and lead a team.
